What skills and experience we're looking for
Are you passionate about working with pupils at the early stages of their education, wanting to ensure their learning experiences are both meaningful and fun?
Due to the promotion of our current EYFS/KS1 teacher, an opportunity to teach a mixed age class of our youngest pupils has arisen. This role is ideally suited to those with previous experience of working within Early Years and/or KS1 and a good knowledge of delivering phonics and early reading.
Depending on experience, there may be the opportunity for successful candidates to receive a TLR for a whole school curriculum responsibility. ECTs with a placement experience and a secure knowledge of EYFS are also welcome to apply for this role.
Successful candidates will be:
- A skilled professional who has an engaging and dynamic style of teaching and can support the needs of all learners across a mixed age range.
- Willing to support the Catholic ethos of the school.
- Driven to make sure all our children achieve their very best, having high expectations of behaviour and achievement.
- A good or outstanding practitioner for phonics, able to deliver this across a mixed age range class.
- Passionate about continuing their own professional development and open to learn and develop as part of a whole school team.
Able prepared to work flexibly as part of a close knit partnership using shared teaching approaches to learning.
