What skills and experience we're looking for

Are you an outstanding Early Years Practitioner with proven leadership qualities? Arnold View Primary School is seeking to appoint a visionary and enthusiastic early years practitioner to the role of Early Years Foundation Stage Lead from September 2024. The successful candidate will take a key role in the continued development of provision and practice across the whole of the Key Stage. We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of our children and who wants to challenge themselves and our hardworking, supportive team to keep on improving.

The ideal candidate will be an inspirational practitioner with creative and innovative approaches whilst being committed to raising standards and improving the life chances of the children in their care.

We are looking for a teacher who:

  • Will be part of the Senior Leadership Team participating in the strategic leadership and management of the school
  • Will lead EYFS and be responsible for the quality of teaching and learning across the phase
  • Demonstrates a clear understanding of what makes outstanding teaching and learning
  • Is an inspirational and collaborative leader able to motivate and empower the staff and children
  • Cares passionately about children and their development whilst driving forward pupil progress and achievement
  • Shows a commitment to ensuring the equality of opportunity for all learners and a genuine desire to work cooperatively with parents/carers, staff and other professionals
  • Is a self-motivated and creative practitioner
  • Has the ability to lead another curriculum area

Tours of the school are actively encouraged and have been arranged for the following dates:

  • Wednesday 27th March at 2pm
  • Thursday 28th March at 2pm
  • Monday 15th April at 1pm and 4pm
  • Wednesday 17th April at 1pm
  • Thursday 18th April at 11am and 1pm
