What skills and experience we're looking for
We have a nursery class and two reception classes and are looking for someone to inspire, guide and support our Early Years staff. The successful candidate will be an instrumental part of the school’s Senior Leadership Team.
The EYFS leader, under the direction of the headteacher, will take lead responsibility of the EYFS to secure:
- High-quality teaching
- Effective use of resources
- Improved standards of learning and achievement for all
The main purpose of the role of class teacher
- The class teacher will be expected to manage all aspects of teaching and learning as set out in the Teachers’ Standards document.
- The class teacher will be responsible for delivering high quality teaching and learning for the pupils who are assigned to them.
- The class teacher will be expected to be an effective and reflective classroom teacher able to demonstrate and share good practice.
- The class teacher will be expected to plan and prepare lessons with regard to individual need, with reference to school policies.
