What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking an outstanding EYFS teacher to join our Juniper Team in September 2025 to teach one of our reception classes. This is a permanent, full-time post, ideal for an ECT, and is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful school that provides exciting learning opportunities for all of our children.

You will be committed to developing a language rich and stimulating environment for all, both inside and outside the classroom, be keen to learn and be open minded to new ideas. You will be developing an understanding of SEND; at Juniper, we have an SEMH Unit (The Nest) and are passionate about supporting our disadvantaged and SEND pupils. We value diversity and you will be expected to support our SMSC & D (Spiritual, Moral, Social, Cultural and Diversity) provision.

What the school offers its staff

This role would be perfect if you are an ECT looking for your first teaching post. We are committed to supporting our ECT’s and provide time for training and reflection as well as a mentor and induction tutor.

At Juniper we use the Read Write Inc approach to teach phonics, reading and early writing. From Year 1 we use the ‘I’m a Clever Writer’ approach to teach English. We also use Kagan Structures in our classrooms to create learning environments that are rich in co-operation and engagement. We would provide full training in Read Write Inc and Kagan.
