You will be committed to developing a language rich and stimulating environment for all, both inside and outside the classroom, be keen to learn and be open minded to new ideas. You will be developing an understanding of SEND; at Juniper, we have an SEMH Unit (The Nest) and are passionate about supporting our disadvantaged and SEND pupils. What the school offers its staff

Juniper is a great place to work, the staff are kind, caring and supportive of each other. The children are delightful, they work hard and enjoy coming to school. This role would be perfect if you are an ECT looking for your first teaching post. We are committed to supporting our ECT’s and provide time for training and reflection as well as a mentor and induction tutor.

At Juniper we use the Read Write Inc approach to teach phonics, reading and early writing. From Year 1 we use the ‘I’m a Clever Writer’ approach to teach English. We also use Kagan Structures in our classrooms to create learning environments that are rich in co-operation and engagement. We would provide full training in Read Write Inc and Kagan.
