As theEarly Years Teacher, you will be based in our vibrantReception class, playing a key role in shaping the early learning journey of our children.You will work in close partnership with theNursery Managerto design and deliver acohesive, high-quality Early Years curriculumthat spans from age2 to 5.We are looking for an enthusiastic teacher with a strength in pedagogical understanding of high quality teaching and learning opportunities.
This is a unique opportunity to lead on curriculum continuity, pedagogy, and transition across the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), ensuring that every child experiences a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate education that is inspirational.You will model outstanding classroom practice, support colleagues across the early years’ team, and contribute to the strategic development of our early years’ provision.

We are looking for someone who has a deep understanding ofchild development in the Early Years and can design and deliverpurposeful, play-based learning experiences to ensure that masterful learning is at the core of each learning opportunity. At Newlyn School it is desirable to have experience in leading or managing an Early Years team with knowledge of the EYFS framework and relevant assessment practices.
