What skills and experience we're looking for

Furzeham Primary & Nursery School is looking to appoint a EYFS Teaching Assistant in our brand new 2 year old provision that will be opening in September. Currently in our Nursery, we provide care and early education for children aged 3–5 years, with most of our children transitioning to the school as they grow. You will be part of a strong team of dedicated professionals working together to provide outstanding and creative learning for our children. We offer excellent professional development and exciting research opportunities.

As our EYFS Teaching Assistant you will be enthusiastic, empathetic, patient and approachable, with a genuine commitment to supporting children’s learning. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about transforming the lives of our children to join with us and support in the learning.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Hold a Level 3 NVQ in Childcare and experience in working in a nursery
  • Have a solid knowledge of the EYFS
  • Be flexible with start and finishing times
  • Have impeccable interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively to colleagues of all levels of seniority
