EYFS Teaching Assistant
1-year Fixed Term Contract
34.25 hours per week, Term Time Only
NJC Pay Scale 5, Actual salary £20,068
St Nicholas of Tolentine Primary School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant (TA) to work as part of a busy and supportive team, in Reception Class starting in September to support our SEN children and more widely in the classroom.
Job requirements
A minimum of 3 GCSEs at C grade or above, including English and Maths
EYFS Teaching Assistant qualification/EYFS experience
Experience of class supervision and assisting with lesson provision to achieve positive learning outcomes
Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work in tandem with teaching staff
Ability to be empathetic and understanding to the needs of learners; the ability to form positive relationships to enable strong inclusion and support of our children
A commitment to the Catholic ethos of the school
A willingness to work well as part of the team
Are determined, resilient and have high expectations of themselves and others
Are flexible, have a good sense of humour and has an understanding of the 'bigger picture'
