One Sixth Form College is seeking to appoint a Facilities Compliance Coordinator to support the effective management of estates compliance across the campus. Working closely with the Facilities Compliance Manager and wider stakeholders within Eastern Education Group, the postholder will play a key role in ensuring the college’s facilities remain safe, compliant, and fit for purpose. This position would suit a well-organised individual with experience in facilities, estates, or engineering environments who is confident managing compliance-related processes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate compliance records through the CAFM system, coordinating statutory and non-statutory inspections, and ensuring planned and reactive maintenance is delivered in line with legislative requirements and recognised standards such as SFG20. The role involves liaising with contractors and internal departments, raising purchase orders in accordance with financial procedures, and preparing documentation to support audits and inspections. A strong focus on accuracy, timeliness, and attention to detail is essential.
Applicants should demonstrate strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, and experience of CAFM or building management systems would be advantageous. Previous experience within a facilities or estates function is essential, and relevant qualifications in Health & Safety or Facilities Management would be desirable. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a professional and supportive environment within a well-established education setting.
