Facilities Manager job summary
Reporting to the Trust Facilities and Estates Manager, the Facilities Manager will be responsible for the maintenance and security of the school premises and site, ensuring a safe working environment for children and staff.
The post holder will ensure that buildings and site are secure, undertake daily security checks including out of school hours and take remedial action if required. They will be responsible for arranging regular maintenance and safety checks on the premises including arranging emergency repairs, undertaking minor repairs and maintenance and operate site systems such as heating, cooling, lighting, security, CCTV and the Hydro Pool. The post holder will undertake regular health and safety checks monitoring and ensuring adherence to Health and Safety, security and confidentiality policies and procedures, keeping maintenance and safety records and reporting defects and concerns to the relevant person.
