Faculty Leader for English job summary

We are looking for a highly motivated, talented and inspirational teacher to lead our English Faculty. The successful candidate will be required to teach English up to KS4. They will develop the teaching and learning of the English Faculty across all abilities in our 11-16 community school. The successful candidate will join the Extended Leadership Team (ELT) and play a key role in strategic decision making to help raise standards and improve outcomes for our students. This is an ideal role for anyone who has future senior leadership ambitions.

John O'Gaunt School is situated in the beautiful historic market town of Hungerford on the Berkshire/Wiltshire border and is very much at the heart of the community it serves. There are good road and rail links, with easy access to the M4 and a 10-minute walk from the station.
