Faculty Leader of Mathematics and Numeracy across the Academy job summary
We wish to appoint a dedicated, creative, inspiring and energetic professional to be Faculty Leader of Mathematics and Numeracy across the Academy from 1 September 2021.The successful applicant will be well equipped to lead the Mathematics team, share expertise and improve student outcomes in Mathematics. Applicants will have the knowledge and skills to further develop, lead and implement whole school numeracy improvement strategies to help our students enjoy their learning and achieve their best.
This post would be ideal for an outstanding practitioner, passionate and informed about the best classroom practice in Mathematics with ambition and drive, and some leadership experience (perhaps as a head or second in a subject or department or leading on literacy, curriculum, T&L or assessment). Candidates will have a proven track record of delivering successful student outcomes, be an outstanding communicator and have strong data analysis skills.
Appointment is subject to a satisfactory enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure & Barring Service.
