Your role:
As the Family Engagement and Pastoral Lead at Welbourne Primary Academy, you will play a pivotal role in helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential. You will establish positive relationships with children and their families, enhance parental engagement, and provide practical and emotional support during times of crisis. Your responsibilities will include leading Early Help assessments, managing Young Carers provision, and implementing pastoral support programs. You will also serve as one of the school's Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads, ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.
To excel in this role, you should have strong communication and interpersonal skills, experience in working with children and families, knowledge of safeguarding practices and relevant legislation, the ability to work collaboratively with staff and external agencies, and a commitment to continuous professional development.
