Designated Safeguarding Lead and Family Liaison Support (37 hours per week, term time plus 2 weeks) job summary
The right candidate will:
Lead the school on safeguarding and liaison with external agencies
Work with staff and parents to ensure that our children have the very best opportunity in education
Have the ability to build constructive and professional relationships with parents, children and staff
Take a central part in school life such as greeting children at the gate in the morning
Have the ability to draw on a wide range of support services, information, opportunities and guidance
Applicants will need to:
Have a proven record of effective work with vulnerable families.
Be someone who is passionate about supporting all children
Have the ability to build and maintain successful relationships both with colleagues and families
Have experience of safeguarding children, Child Protection and online record keeping
Have sense of humour and be resilient and resourceful
Be emotionally robust, capable of dealing with challenging situations
