Family Learning Mentor
31.25 hours per week
Term time only
Fixed Term until 31st May 2025
Would you like to make a difference? Are you committed to giving children the best start in life? We would like to appoint a Family Learning Mentor to deliver the highest quality provision to children in our school.
The successful candidate will:
- Share our vision to enable every child to 'Shine bright their light'
- Demonstrate their commitment, every day, with all children
- Have previous experience working with children and their families
- Experience of running effective support for families
- Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
- Ability to set up and deliver family support programmes including group work
- Demonstrate the ability to converse and provide effective help or advice, fluently in spoken and written English
- Use their initiative
- Show integrity and flexibility as a member of our team
The post is to work with families and children in the school from 2 to 11 years from 8.45am - 3.30pm Monday to Friday term time only. Some flexibility to start earlier or stay later on some days may be required. We would like the successful candidate to start work as soon as possible.
