What skills and experience we're looking for

* Proven experience in family support, community development,or social work, particularly within education settings.

* Experience in managing multi-stakeholder partnerships,especially with community and voluntary organisations

* Knowledge and understanding of the challenges faced bydisadvantaged families, including barriers to learning.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including theability to work effectively with school staff, parents, and community organisations.

* Experience in conducting assessments, developing supportplans, and reviewing outcomes.

* Ability to collect and analyse data to monitor progress andoutcomes.

* Experience in case management and working withmultidisciplinary teams

* Knowledge of safeguarding practices and child protectionlegislation.

* Experience working with diverse family structures andbackgrounds, including complex family dynamics

* Ability to advocate for families and provide information on theirrights and available support services.

* Empathy and a non-judgmental approach to working withfamilies in challenging circumstances

* Proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving

*Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborativeteam
