Family Support Worker job summary

The successful candidate will work in partnership with the Principal, staff and community of Buckton Fields to provide outstanding learning experiences as part of our growing team. This role is required at this stage of our growth to support with wellbeing and safeguarding, work with our parents and families and assist with improving attendance for all of our children.

Whilst this role is Fixed Term until 31st August 2026 there is potential for this role to become permanent from September 2026 with additional hours being available from September onwards,

Buckton Fields Primary School is a new two-form entry school, which opened in September 2021.We have had a fantastic start since opening with a brilliant, dedicated team, enthusiastic children and supportive families. As part of the Preston Hedge’s Trust, the school is founded on the ethos of ‘Fun, Creativity & Achievement.’ With these as the foundations of our school, the vision for Buckton Field’s is based around sustainability through an eco-curriculum, utilising the local amenities in the community. Buckton Fields Primary School is a unique place to learn, full of creative and engaging learning opportunities that encourage pupils to become inquisitive, confident, life-long learners, whilst making a positive difference to our local environment.
