Family Support Worker job summary

We are a friendly and welcoming school with happy and engaged children who love to learn. Our staff are dedicated and passionate, with a sense of fun and commitment to every child. At Waingroves Primary School every child counts.

We are looking for a suitable candidate who is able to work as a key player in our Pastoral Team leading work with children and families to support the engagement and well‐being of pupils at school and at home. The ideal candidate will be able to work with families and school to plan and support learning and behaviour programmes. They should also be able to carry out Early Help Assessments and act as lead professional where appropriate., and to use Nurture and Positive Play strategies as a medium for engaging and developing vulnerable children.
