Leiston is a 420 place school with a busy nursery. Currently judged by Ofsted as ‘Good’. We offer our children a wide range of opportunities. We constantly look at ways to develop and extend our practice to support our role as part of the community. Our ideal candidate will work to ensure that safeguarding across the school is effective and will take lead responsibility as well as advising and supporting children, families and staff within our school community.
We are looking for a candidate who:
- is passionate about safeguarding and is able to work collaboratively with pupils and colleagues
- is a positive and welcoming presence in the school and works effectively with all stakeholders
- has proven experience in effective safeguarding
- understands the importance of shared culture within a school and knows how to promote this for the benefit of all
- is an excellent practitioner
- has high expectations in all areas of school life
