What skills and experience we're looking for

Education Impact Academy Trust is a MAT incorporating The Hive College, Wilson Stuart School, Queensbury School and Mayfield School. The Hive College is based in Erdington, Birmingham and is a Specialist Further Education College for learners aged 19-25 years with Special Educational Needs and disabilities. In November 2023 we were graded Outstanding in every single aspect of an Ofsted Inspection.

Our adopted college motto is ‘Believing is achieving’, which resonates through everything we do at The Hive and it’s at the heart of what we want our students to aspire to. We constantly strive for excellence, and as part of our on-going development of a highly successful specialist college, we have a Female Care Assistant vacancy to join our team of professional and dedicated people.

The right candidate will have:

  • The ability to work as part of a team assisting in the personal care and management of female students with a physical disabilities and/or medical conditions.
  • Actively contributes to a happy safe and supportive environment.
  • Experience of and the ability to deal positively with young adults with SEND.
  • Communication skills to positively and effectively communicate with students and listen to them.
  • The ability to support our values and ethos and be a positive role model.

  • The ability to show initiative and work independently.
  • The ability to encourage students to improve their independence.
