We are seeking to appoint an ambitious, excellent teacher and leader who is passionate about their subject and can evidence proven success in nurturing an environment within which everyone can reach their full potential - learners and staff alike.

Key Responsibilities

  • The academy’s mission statement, aims, priorities, targets and balanced scorecard and the mission of the Summit Learning Trust.
  • Statutory curriculum requirements and the requirements for assessment, recording and reporting of learners’ attainment and progress.
  • The characteristics of high-quality teaching and the main strategies for improving and sustaining high standards of teaching, learning and achievement for all learners.
  • Set high expectations and targets for learners.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers to enhance student outcomes.

About You

  • A qualified teacher (QTS)
  • Ability to demonstrate good teachingensuring all students make excellent progress.
  • Successful and relevant secondary teaching experience.
  • Clear understanding and detailed knowledge of current curriculum and assessment requirements and developments
  • Build strong, positive relationships with learners, parent and carers, and colleagues.
