Female Teacher of PE job summary
PE forms an integral part of the curriculum across all key stages at TLA. The Sport and Nutrition Faculty offers a wide range of courses including GCSE PE (AQA), BTEC Tech Award in Sport, BTEC Sport L3 and Level 2 Qualification in Community Sports Leadership. At TLA, PE enjoys a high profile, with very good levels of participation by students. Extra-curricular clubs are well attended. We are part of the West Sussex South District Sports partnership. The partnership provides us with an extensive fixture schedule at district level. Many of our sports teams consistently win district competitions and reach the latter stages of County and National competitions.
Our sports facilities are state of the art: 1 3G pitch, 1 AstroTurf pitch, 2 sports halls, a large field area, a dance studio and a fitness suite.
