Finance Administrator job summary

Southfield School are expanding their support team, and seeking a Finance Administrator to oversee the day to day financial responsibilities of our School.

Our ideal candidate will be organised, professional, with excellent communication skills and a high level of attention to detail. They will be able to manage multiple tasks, work efficiently, and use technology (Arbor) confidently to support their role. The successful candidate will demonstrate initiative, manage competing priorities effectively, and organise their workload to meet a wide range of demands. A positive, proactive “can-do” attitude is essential, along with a willingness to solve problems and develop new skills quickly.

The postholder will join a supportive, collaborative office team, who work flexibly to support colleagues and the wider school community. Strong IT skills are essential, particularly in Microsoft Office, and knowledge of Arbor would be an advantage.

Experience of working within a school environment is desirable, but not essential, as training will be provided.
