Finance Apprentice job summary

The Howard Academy Trust is seeking a highly effective Finance Apprentice, to start with immediate effect. This role will be based within the Finance Department, within the Central Operations Team of the Trust.

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and motivated individual, eager to learn and develop a career in Finance. You will demonstrate a willingness to undertake training, build your knowledge of Finance support, and contribute positively to the Department.

This is a full time, all year round, fixed term role (15 months), paid on the Apprentice Minimum Wage. The salary is reviewed annually in April in line with the nationally agreed salaries.

The working pattern will consist of 37 hours per week, Monday-Friday, with a 30 minute unpaid break each day, as well as allocated study time outside of work for the completion of apprenticeship coursework.

The successful candidate will undertake on the job training alongside studying for a Level 3 qualification in Finance with AAT. There may be opportunity for a permanent role upon successful completion of the apprenticeship course.
