About the Role
As Finance Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the Trust, particularly in the administration of purchase ledger and general finance transactions. Reporting to the Finance Associate, you will ensure accuracy, compliance and efficiency across financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Coding, inputting and processing invoices on a daily basis
- Preparing payment runs in line with company standards and internal controls
- Maintaining the finance system to ensure accuracy and data integrity
- Resolving supplier queries including invoicing, remittance and payment enquiries
What We’re Looking For
- 5 GCSEs (A*-C or equivalent), including English and Maths
- Experience supporting day-to-day financial operations within budget constraints
- Ability to work flexibly, prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
- Understanding of confidentiality and GDPR requirements
