Finance Assistant job summary
30 to 37 hours per week, all-year round

We are seeking a Finance Assistant to work as part of a busy Finance Team based at our central Trust Office in Norwich.
Main duties will include using SAGE 200 and other payment systems to:
- Raise purchase orders for goods and services, checking budgets and approvals
- Process supplier invoices, confirm the receipt of goods and prepare invoices for payment
- Reconcile supplier statements and liaise with suppliers and colleagues to resolve queries
- Raise sales invoices, review and reconcile debtor balances, allocate receipts
- Administration of credit card accounts
- Using Excel spreadsheets to analyse data and financial transactions
- Reconcile and summarise receipts from parent and student income systems
- Support the management of the Finance Team email inboxes
- Filing and general administration duties.
Knowledge of computerised finance systems and/or working in a finance environment is desirable, as are good communication skills and a “can-do” attitude.
Experience working in a school/Trust environment is not essential, but you will need to be organised and efficient, with the skills to manage your own time and deadlines. Occasional travel to the Trust’s school sites in Norfolk, as required.
