FINANCE ASSISTANT

Grade G3 Point 6 - £24,796 (FTE)

30 hours per week / 52 weeks per year

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, efficient and hard-working Finance Assistant with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience of working in a school or Trust environment is desirable; however, we are primarily looking for the right person who will fit in well with our team and share our values.

The post will support the Finance Team and Director of Finance, with primary responsibility for the purchase order process, ensuring orders are raised and processed accurately and in line with financial procedures. The role will also provide wider financial support to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of finance services and compliance with financial regulations and audit requirements.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and high-performing Finance Team. The successful candidate will have experience of finance processes and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment, while also contributing positively as part of a team. Experience of school-specific finance systems is not essential, as training will be provided. You will be organised, accurate and thorough in your work, with a proactive approach.

This is a great opportunity to further your career within an environment based on a coaching culture and a commitment to staff personal and professional learning and development.
