An exciting opportunity - with scope for longer term progression - has arisen to join the Finance team at Broad Horizons Education Trust which currently operates 18 academies in and around Norwich - 3 secondary schools, 2 specialist schools and 13 schools for younger children.

The Finance Business Partner will help lead the busy and friendly finance team. As a group, we are responsible for producing complete and accurate consolidated monthly management accounts, whilst also working with a range of internal and external stakeholders to drive value for money as part of the organisation’s responsibility to steward and apply public funds effectively and efficiently.

We will be delivering continuous improvement in the Trust’s finance function and developing trusted business partnerships with departmental budget holders (Head Teachers and Central Service leads) and other operational staff. Candidates are expected to have recognised accountancy training and strong interpersonal skills with at least 2 years experience within a finance role.

The hours for this post are 37 hours per week with the opportunity for flexi working weeks around school holidays.
