VACANCY
FINANCE LEAD
L7 PT 26 £33,146 to PT 28 £35,688 per annum
37 hours per week (Part time may be considered) 41 Weeks per year
To be responsible for the management of the school financial resources, to include income identification, generation & finance the supply of external support services. The Finance lead will play an active role in the ongoing financial monitoring and year end reports. Extended school and school charity accounts issues and activities. Supporting the vision, and ethos of the school, the post holder will significantly contribute to the management strategy in accordance with the School Improvement Plan.

The successful candidate will:
- Have strong financial and analytical skills.
- Have a qualification relevant to the job, or good evidence of equivalent experience and training gained in the work place.
- Have substantial experience of the management and supervision of employees performing similar work.
- Experience of the management and use of IT for financial practices, spreadsheets and databases.
- Able to communicate effectively with parents, students, governors, the LEA, external agencies and colleagues.
- Be passionate about making a real difference to the lives of our children.
