HOURS: 37 hours a week Monday to Friday, 52 weeks a year
The Bedfordshire Schools Trust (BEST) is looking to appoint a Finance Manager to help the Trust meet the challenges faced in education with regard to financial management, accounts and compliance. This is a brand new role and the successful candidate will be working in the central team, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer and supporting the BEST Executive Team and the Finance Assistants in our schools and nurseries to ensure accurate recording and monitoring is achieved and all statutory requirements are met.
BEST is a multi-academy trust providing exceptional education across our community of 10 schools and five nurseries. Since forming in 2016, we have grown significantly into one of the largest single employers in Central Bedfordshire. We now educate around 6,000 children across the area, from nursery age to advanced level study. It is our aim to grow the BEST in everyone, and everything we do is driven by our values, but our aims can only be achieved if we recruit, retain and develop the highest quality workforce – and we want those we employ to be valued in the workplace.
