Finance Manager job summary
Term time only (plus inset days)
Hours: 12 per week, days are negotiable
We are seeking to appoint an experienced, dedicated, conscientious and self-motivated Finance Manager to provide a key role in the organisation and management of all finance activities within the school.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Headteacher and Business Manager to ensure effective preparation and planning of annual budgets. Aa an experienced manager, you will need to show initiative and drive in ensuring all financial matters are dealt with in a timely and effective manner, whilst being solution focused you will also be responsible for the day to day management of the school's financial functions. A team player you will work closely with the finance assistant whom you will line manage and the Headteacher/Business Manager supporting budget management and salary costings. Experience in finance within the education sector is desirable, along with good ICT skills, especially excel. Ability to prioritise your workload and confidence in the implementation and delivery of all financial information is also an important part of the role.
