Finance Officer job summary

Long Road is a thriving, successful post 16 Sixth Form College 2,600 students on roll across a variety of studies. Conveniently located close to the M11 and A14, within easy reach of several areas of outstanding natural beauty and the Norfolk Suffolk coast, the college is set next to the Biomedical Campus in its own attractive grounds in the beautiful, thriving and expanding Bio/Technical city of Cambridge. As Finance Officer you will be responsible for processing purchase ledger transactions including supplier invoices, purchase orders, and other forms of payments including the processing of refunds. You will also be responsible for the posting of the college income collected from students, the processing of College Shop orders, stock control and the administration of payments for College Trips whilst delivering an excellent experience for our staff, pupils, parents and visitors.

To be successful, you will need to have excellent administrative, IT and customer service skills, previous experience in an accounts/administrative environment, and you will be adaptable, flexible, and have great attention to detail.
