What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for an individual who has an understanding of basic accountancy, strong IT skills, particularly in the use of Excel and has previously worked in a busy office environment. Experience of Sage 50 and cash handling is desirable but not essential.
We are also looking for the following:
- GCSE English & Maths A* – C grade or equivalent
- Experience of working as part of a team
- The ability to prioritise work in a busy team environment and work to deadlines
- Customer service experience

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Finance Team as a Finance Officer. You will work closely with the Finance team under the direction of the Finance Manager in a busy school office.
The working hours are up to 22.5 hours per week, term time only, days and hours are negotiable. Your actual salary is £11,961.25 per annum, and this is paid in 12 equal instalments over the year so even when it is the summer holidays, you continue to receive the same payment that month. Finance plays an important part of the school. You will work as part of our friendly finance team, who are responsible for undertaking a range of duties that contribute to and support the school’s admin and finance procedures.
