Vacancy for Finance Officer

Salary: Meridian Trust Support, Grade 7 Points 12 - 19

Hours of work: 37 hours per week, 40 weeks per year ( Term time plus 10 days)

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Finance Officer. This role will provide financial support for the successful operations of the school. While assisting the Trust Accountant with the Trust's financial operations to ensure the support services provided enable school to meet their responsibilities and goals.

The Harbour School is part of the Meridian Trust (MT) family of schools. We welcome boys from 5-16 years who have an Education, Health and Care plan (EHCP) for social, emotional and mental health needs.

The ideal candidate

  • Experience working in an administrative or accounting environment.
  • Must have a full valid driving license and access to their own means of transport.
  • Have a working knowledge of accounts payable/receivable in conjunction with PSF or equivalent accounting software.
  • Possess the ability to manage own workload and meet deadlines effectively whilst maintaining high attention to detail.
