An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Support Officer to join our well-established central finance team. This role, although based at the trust offices, will require an ability and willingness to travel to trust schools, to provide financial processing support.
The Financial Support Officer role will provide purchase requisition processing, general ordering, charge card reconciliation and trip analysis to both primary and secondary schools. The successful candidate will also support budget holders within the school with budget reporting and purchase ordering. The role, overseen by the Trust Finance Manager, will provide an essential link between our schools and the central finance team.
What we are looking for:
- Experience of working in a financial role, ideally within the education sector
- AAT level 3 or above qualifications
- Excellent communication skills, which includes the ability to exchange complex written and verbal information clearly and sensitively
- The ability to prioritise your workload while maintaining accuracy and meeting key deadlines
- Working knowledge of financial management systems
- Ability to travel across all schools within the trust
