Finance & Trips Administrator job summary
A rare and exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic administrator to join our busy Finance team. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills, be a competent user of IT systems, including advanced spreadsheet ability and, ideally, experience of producing standard financial reports. Previous financial experience and/or experience of working in a school would be advantageous but is not essential.
This varied role includes, but is not limited to, the administration of trips and visits, the school’s parent payment portal, school transport and our cashless catering system. You will also deal with general student, staff and parents/carer queries face-to-face and on the telephone.
The preferred working pattern is 37 hours per week on a term-time (plus 3 weeks in the school holidays) basis. However, a full-time working arrangement can be considered and discussed at interview.
Ofsted (2024) commented that (pupils) “pupils’ conduct and manners are exemplary … it is common practice to hold doors open for others and behave in a friendly, courteous manner… any disruption to learning is incredibly rare… staff are extremely positive about the support that they receive from leaders…particularly around their professional development and well-being”.
We can offer:
A competitive salary with London fringe allowance and Local Government Pension Scheme
Bespoke CPD to suit your career goals
Focus on staff well-being with an online GP service, Employee Assistance Programme, subsidised use of an on-site electric vehicle charging and complimentary use of a new on-site fitness suite.
An admission policy prioritising the children of staff (a qualifying period may apply)
Lovely school grounds in leafy surroundings with ample parking.
