Financial Accountant job summary
The Sir John Brunner Foundation is seeking to appoint a Financial Accountant to join our central finance team for a maternity cover position. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the financial operations of a dynamic and growing Multi Academy Trust.
The Financial Accountant plays a pivotal role in providing financial support and guidance to our academies, ensuring effective financial management and compliance with regulatory requirements. Working closely with senior leadership teams.
You will be experienced in managing all aspects of financial transactions processing, financial reconciliation, and an effective administrator to support the wider finance team.
The role is 34 hours per week, full year and on a 12 month fixed term basis.
This is an exciting time to be joining our Multi Academy Trust, of three High Schools and a Sixth Form College, which collectively educates over 4300 children, and employs over 450 professionals, as we begin to centralise and raise the profile of our professional services.
Each of our good and outstanding academies operates at the heart of their local communities. The Foundation’s central offices are based at Sir John Deane’s Sixth Form College campus set in beautiful grounds.
