First Aid Lead job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a First Aid Lead to join our dedicated team at Fulbridge Academy. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the health, safety and wellbeing of our pupils.
You will be responsible for providing first aid, responding to medical needs and maintaining accurate records, ensuring that children are cared for in a safe and supportive environment.

We are looking for someone who:
Holds a paediatric first aid qualification
Has experience of working with children
Has strong communication and organisational skills
Is calm, responsive and able to act quickly in a range of situations
Can work effectively as part of a team as well as using their own initiative
Is committed to promoting the wellbeing and safety of all pupils
Key responsibilities include:
Providing first aid and medical support to pupils and staff
Managing medical needs, including care plans and medication administration
Maintaining accurate records of first aid incidents, treatment and communication with parents
Supporting safeguarding and wellbeing procedures across the school
Liaising with staff, parents and external professionals where required
Attend Vulnerable Child meetings to report on issues including allergens.
Provide operational support for the school Allergen Lead (Assistant Principal)

Grade 4
29.5hrs per week
Monday- Thursday 9.00am - 3.30pm / Friday 9.00 - 3.00pm
