£29,269 to £32,076 pro-rata (actual salary £21,990 to £24,099)

Pay scale

Grade G SCP 18 – 23 *A national pay award is currently being negotiated with workers’ unions and is pending agreement. Therefore the salary will be higher than published.

Additional allowances

The salary grade may be increased for a candidate with skills/qualifications that warrant this (for example a candidate who is a Registered Nurse).

What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint a First Aid Lead to join our busy team.

You will:

  • have or be willing to gain and maintain a First Aid at Work Qualification;
  • be enthusiastic about giving young people the best possible start in life;
  • have the confidence and tenacity to develop and maintain policies, care plans, etc., and to promote good practice;
  • have experience of working in a client/customer facing role;
  • be professional, enthusiastic, self-motivating and able to demonstrate flexibility in your approach;
  • be confident to deal with a wide range of contact and queries;
  • have a caring and patient nature, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • be a team player, and be able to contribute to the shared responsibility ethos of our school;
  • have a sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
