First Line ICT Technician job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and professional ICT technician to join our established and forward-thinking ICT team. In this dynamic role, the successful applicant will play a vital part in supporting the technological needs of the school, contributing to the ongoing development and effectiveness of our ICT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be passionate about technology and eager to provide exceptional support for both staff and students, ensuring that our digital resources are reliable, efficient, and accessible. As part of a collaborative and supportive team environment, you will have the chance to further develop your skills, take on new challenges, and make a meaningful contribution to the success of our school community.

The successful candidate must:

  • ensure the smooth running of the school’s ICT network
  • provide outstanding, pro-active, and assessable support to all users.
  • enable collaborative working and reduced workload for all staff
  • be able to develop good relationships with others by behaving with integrity, treating people with respect and lead by example,
  • have the ability to relate well to children and adults,
  • be reliable, approachable and non-judgemental,
  • be able to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality,
  • comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection, health, safety and security, confidentiality and data protection, reporting all concerns to an appropriate person
