What skills and experience we're looking for
The successful candidate will:
- Be an enthusiastic practitioner, keen to take on a mixed Year 2/3 class (approximately 25 pupils).
- Have experience of planning for all subjects within the two key stages. •Have a passion for the environment.
- Be up-to-date with approaches to teaching and keen to take on new challenges in the profession.
- Have familiarity and ideally, experience of delivering synthetics phonics programmes (we use Little Wandle).
- Maintain our warm and welcoming environment to enable all children to reach their full potential. Please indicate your strengths and interests as a candidate, especially on your letter of application.

What the school offers its staff
We are thrilled that our current class teacher has gained a headship in the Eden Valley. Due to this, the governors of Brough Community Primary School are looking to appoint a full-time teacher to join our lovely and thriving village school, on a fixed contract for the summer term, with the possibility of the post becoming permanent for September 2024. The post is in our fabulous Twiglets Class, comprising Years 2 and 3 pupils. The post would be suitable for all teaching applicants, from Early Career Teachers to experienced practitioners.
