Fixed Term Maternity Cover - Teacher job summary
This is a fixed term post up to one year - Maternity cover from 1st September 2026 for 12 months or until employee returns.
The Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated teacher to join a talented, creative team of professionals. The successful candidate will teach in one of our KS2 classes. Applications welcome from experienced and newly-qualified staff. This is a temporary post, full-time, to cover maternity leave.
We are looking for a teacher who will:
- Be creative and committed in promoting high standards
- Be an excellent classroom practitioner
- Have high expectations of children’s achievement and behaviour
- Be able to work effectively with colleagues as part of a team
- Fully support the Catholic ethos of the school
