Fixed Term Teaching Assistant job summary

Teaching Assistant required to work at Menston Primary school, Monday - Friday 8:30am - 3:15pm, 31.25 hour per week, Term Time Only, SCP5-6 , Fixed Term to 31.08.2026 To start as soon as possible

We seek to appoint an enthusiastic, caring Teaching Assistant, on a fixed term basis to 31.08.26, to join the strong staff team at our high performing, popular and friendly school. You will need to be committed to developing inclusion, have experience of working with primary aged children and have a calm, positive and confident manner. This post includes an element of 1:1 and lunchtime supervision.

The successful candidate will need to:

• Have experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting

• Be enthusiastic, well-motivated and committed to raising standards

• Be a well organised, friendly, and flexible team player, with good interpersonal skills

• Demonstrate an interest and aptitude for working creatively and using their own initiative and ideas

• Have a commitment to their own professional development
