Food Tech Teacher / Head of Food Technology job summary

If you are an outstanding teacher looking for the next step in your career, this role could be for you! We are looking for a Food Technology specialist to join our Design and Technology Faculty for a term or two from 1st September. Depending on experience we would be happy to consider a Head of Department TLR.

Food Tech is a popular subject, taught to all our KS3 students and we offer GCSE (WJCE) in Hospitality and Catering. You will have an engaging teaching style with the knowledge and skills required to lead your subject and encourage uptake at KS4.

Skills and Qualifications:

- QTS

- At least 2 years of teaching experience in Food Technology.

- Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 3 curriculum.

- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficient in classroom management techniques.

- Passionate about educating young minds and fostering a love for food technology.
