Food Technician job summary
This is an important support role within the Design Technology department at Orion Eden Park, focused on enabling the effective delivery of Food Technology lessons and enrichment activities. Working closely with teaching staff, you will assist in preparing and organising practical sessions, ensuring that resources, ingredients, and equipment are ready for use, and that high standards of health and safety are maintained at all times.
You will also provide targeted support to students, both in lessons and in small group settings, helping them to engage with the curriculum, develop independence, and build confidence in a practical learning environment. The role requires a proactive and organised individual who can contribute to a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom, supporting both student progress and the overall learning experience.
