Food Technology Assistant job summary

Meadowhead School Academy Trust are seeking a reliable, organised and enthusiastic Food Technology Assistant to join our busy secondary school Food Department. This supporting role is essential in helping our practical lessons run smoothly and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for our students.

The working hours will been hours: two (2) hours per day working 9am - 11am, Monday - Friday however, we can be flexible with these hours for the successful candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparing and setting up practical workstations and equipment before lessons.

Ensuring all ingredients, utensils and resources are ready for student use.

Cleaning and maintaining ovens, work surfaces and classroom equipment to a high standard.

Wash and dry tea towels and other laundry items to maintain high cleanliness and hygiene standards.

Assisting with the organisation and storage of ingredients and supplies.

Supporting the Food Technology team with general classroom preparation and end-of-lesson clean-down

Support within the classroom.
