Pioneer is a very successful special school providing for children and young people between the ages of 3 to 19 with Severe and Complex Learning Difficulties. We have purpose built facilities and an opportunity has arisen to join our team in this exciting environment.
We are looking for a Forest School Lead to support our students in this innovative program of outdoor learning projects and activities. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and high-quality outdoor lessons that cater to diverse learning styles, nurturing confidence and self-esteem in our pupils with severe and complex needs. Our Forest School is a bespoke area on the school site, which is well resourced.
At Pioneer we have a modern and inspiring learning environment, complemented with a wide and varied range of resources to enhance the learning experience for all. We have a holistic approach to meeting the needs of our pupils to enable them to experience and achieve success.
We work closely and collaboratively with families and other professionals which supports our pupils to reach their full potential and prepare them for life beyond school.
Our aim is to ensure our students are excited about coming to school and love learning. We want them to be motivated and challenged. Most of all, we want all our students to know they can be successful and feel proud of their achievements.
