The Gateway Academy is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join our thriving Science Faculty. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ECT to be part of a dynamic team that consistently achieves strong academic results and fosters a love of learning in every student.
About the Role
As a Science Teacher at The Gateway Academy, you will:
· Deliver engaging and challenging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
· Foster curiosity and enthusiasm for Science through creative and practical teaching approaches.
· Assess and monitor students’ progress, providing feedback that inspires improvement and confidence.
· Work collaboratively with a dedicated team of subject specialists who are passionate about achieving excellence.
· Contribute to the ongoing development of the Science curriculum and enrichment opportunities.
What We’re Looking For
· A qualified teacher with a strong subject specialism in Biology, Chemistry and / or Physics.
· A passion for inspiring young people and making Science engaging and accessible.
· Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
· A commitment to raising achievement and supporting the holistic development of every student.
· A collaborative approach and enthusiasm for working as part of a team.
