Are you enthusiastic, reliable, and eager to be part of a fantastic team? We are looking for a dedicated General Assistant to support our kitchen and food & beverage teams.
In this vital role, you will ensure our kitchen and front-of-house areas are clean and organized while helping prepare crockery, cutlery, and meals to create a seamless and enjoyable dining experience for our guests.

What will you do?
- To prepare all types of food in line with kitchen requirements or to pack meals as needed
- To assist in all aspects of the day-to-day duties in the kitchen and Front of House, ensuring that the required catering service is successfully delivered daily basis. This includes working as an effective team member.
- To liaise and co-operate with the Chef manager and the Front of house manager, to follow and respect their request and orders.
- Preparation of meals and or packing, observing all Quality, Hygiene and Food Safety requirements
What are we looking for?
- Kitchen Experience or Front of House Experience
- Ability to follow strict instructions in a systematic and consistent manner
- The ability to work unsupervised in a busy environment
- Commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of all students

This school will be the latest in the development of the Avanti Schools Trust who already have several highly successful schools in operation and I am very proud and honoured to have been appointed as the Executive Principal Designate for this new member to our family of schools.
Avanti Meadows Primary School will provide parents and pupils with the highest standards of education and pastoral care. We want our children to take pride in the new school and for every member of the school community to work hard to provide high quality education, care and support for every child and every family. The site for Avanti Meadows will be a brand new building and the facilities will be bespoke, contemporary and first-class, which will make for a unique learning experience. We are working in partnership with Hertfordshire County Council to ensure that careful planning and preparation is in place to make Avanti Meadows a first-choice school for the children of Bishop’s Stortford North. This is a very exciting time for all of us as we see the new school develop towards the opening date of September 2021
