Our school is situated to the west of York and serves the large village of Poppleton and surrounding areas.
We pride ourselves on our warm, friendly atmosphere and begin caring for children and families as soon as you arrive. We believe that each step of a child’s education is as important as the one before. With this in mind, we continue to provide inspiring and memorable learning experiences throughout their learning journey - supporting them and challenging them as they go. Our curriculum is creative, inclusive and exciting. It provides children with a broad range of learning experiences which seek to nurture talents and acquire new knowledge and skills in a purposeful and engaging way. We aim to develop confident, articulate, and inquisitive learners and endeavour to work in partnership with parents to achieve this.
We have a team of staff that not only support your child in their learning, but also in their personal development and emotional wellbeing. Although we have high aspirations for all pupils, we recognise that children may have different needs or may require an 'alternative route' or support during their time with us. This is reflected in the varied professionals and opportunities available, the learning environments and relationships formed with both pupils and families.
Our website provides a small peak into our amazing school, providing information about our curriculum and provision.
