Salary: Band C, Scp 2 Annual salary £11,336.

Location: North Yorkshire

Contract type: Established contract, 27.5 hours per week.

Full time would be the FTE hours working 52 weeks per year.

A Term Time Only post on 37 hours per week is not all year round so is considered ‘part time’.

The Governing Body of this vibrant, friendly and successful village school is seeking to appoint a skilled teaching assistant to join our fantastic team. The role is to support teaching and learning in a KS1 class, and some playground supervision. We maintain a welcoming, inclusive ethos and want someone who will join our strong staff team. We are committed to professional development and are keen to support career progression.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

· Resilience and a positive attitude towards supporting vulnerable children;

· Empathy towards young children and an understanding of how children learn;

· Excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills;
